In 1979 Dennis Powers created Powers Screen Printing in West Haven, Connecticut. Powers Screen Printing had acquired multiple licenses for printing collegiate sports apparel and collegiate sports products. In 2001 TEES+PLUS purchased Powers Screen Printing and now, six years later, the relationship has enabled the company to offer various options for collegiate apparel for hundreds of colleges and universities.
Powers Screen Printing is a division of TEES+PLUS, and continues to offer the highest quality collegiate apparel and collegiate merchandise.
Collegiate licensing gives Powers Screen Printing the ability to develop and manufacture collegiate apparel. As the number of collegiate licenses grew, the University of Connecticut was added. Powers was the supplier of championship apparel when both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams won National Championships.
Most recently, Powers/A Division of TEES+PLUS, expanded the collegiate division to include Conferences such as the BIG EAST, the Mid American Conference (MAC), the America East, the ECAC and the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. With each Collegiate Event Season, sales teams hit the road to set up and sell Conference and Championship specific merchandise at over 30 championship sites.
Today, Powers/A Division of TEES+PLUS, continues to expand business both in the custom screen printing and collegiate fields. Whether supplying 24 shirts for a family reunion or all the merchandise for the four day Big East Men's Basketball Championship at Madison Square Garden in New York, Powers/A Division of TEES+PLUS can handle all your apparel and specialty product needs.
